We recommend our guests to pack their personal items into a soft luggage bag. Guests will need to pack light weight clothing suitable for warm weather conditions. A long sleeved shirt like those worn for fishing are a good idea for long periods in the sun. A day pack is also handy for day excursions and hikes. Cruises from June-August might experience cooler nights so a light cardigan or pullover would be ideal.

There is a no shoe policy whilst on board Ocean Dream. The reason for this is to maintain the vessel in pristine condition and up keep the casual atmosphere. However, you will need water shoes or reef sandals for water landings and a pair of enclosed shoes for bush walking.

It is totally up to you as to your level of engagement in our daily activities. Some days you may prefer to stay on the vessel and relax and that is totally fine. However, if you would like to partake in our daily excursions then a moderate level of fitness is required. There will be disembarkations of the vessel into tenders and onto shore, climbing over uneven rocky ground, bush walking and some moderate climbs up to Indigenous Art sites.

Of course we can. Please inform the office at the time of booking with any dietary requirements.

Children are allowed on board Ocean Dream, however, the parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of the children at all times. The Kimberley is a remote wilderness area with inherent dangers and life on board a vessel has its own potential hazards. Ocean Dream does not have any special facilities on board for children including child minding or play equipment.

Due to the remote location of our adventure cruises, there is no mobile phone reception so you will not be able to use your phone to make calls. For emergencies, the vessel has a satellite phone. Internet accessibility is possible however it is limited by location and sporadic. Whilst we encourage our guests to make the most of their cruise by “disconnecting” we understand the need to keep in touch with loved ones, especially when you are having so much fun.

Use of the satellite phone and internet will incur additional costs that can be arranged with the captain of the vessel.
